Run From Work at Home Stuffing Envelopes Scams

Of all the work at home opportunities out there, stuffing envelopes is the biggest scam of all. Even if it was a legitimate job, how many envelopes could a person stuff for hours on end before going crazy?

In this day and age, people do very little repetitive work because machines can stuff envelopes faster, cheaper and with less complaining than their human counterparts. The amount of junk mail in the average mailbox will give you some perspective on the envelope stuffing job being criminal. Every mailbox in this country gets junk mail in envelopes and the only human hand to touch that envelope was the mailman's.

Realistically, it is not economical to have people stuffing envelopes. Mailing the bulk supplies would cost too much. The only reason it is advertised is to sucker people looking for a quick buck into giving their money to a scam artist also looking for a quick buck. Your buck!

Here is how it works:
You read an advertisement for this great job that makes oodles of money.
You ask for more information.
They send you exciting testimonials and general mumbo jumbo enticing you to send money for the starter kit.
Mislead and desperate, you unfortunately send money
Your starter kit arrives (if you are lucky) and it gives you a list of names to whom you are to send the same letter you received.
Some other poor soul then reads the letter you sent them and sends them money.
You get a percentage of the money from those poor souls.

The number of people who fall for the scam is so low that you never earn a dime. Another way to take your money is to actually charge you for the starter kit and have you stuff envelopes with extensive directions and expectations. You will receive pay for those envelopes that pass inspection. Needless to say, very few, if any, of your envelopes will pass inspection.

One more scam that seems prevalent is to have a website that talks about all of the scams on the internet. The owner of the site explains how they were conned out of money and they don't want this to happen to anybody else. Therefore, as a public service, they have done all the research for you and found the top five legitimate home based internet jobs online.

The owner knows these five programs work because they just received a $1,000 bonus check after just doing the program for 21 days! And they won a trip to Hawaii on top of it all! Oddly, the programs they lead you to require you to pay a fee. But the story is so enticing and the person sounds so honest!

There are no fast, easy ways to make money that require no skill unless you are willing to start up a scam yourself and steal money from others. Even then, with the internet, it doesn't take long for people to blog about how they were ripped off by your scam and others should beware. People either stop falling for the scam or you are arrested.

Developing a skill or educating yourself are the only two ways to make an honest living. Spend your time, energy and money at a technical training institute, university or community college. Get your GED if you didn't earn your high school diploma. Scholarships are out there and financial aide is well worth the investment in an education. Don't let the education system intimidate you. Granted, it takes time to learn a skill, finish a program, or earn a degree, but your earning potential will skyrocket in the long run! Wouldn't you rather spend the money you would have spent on a scam artist's so-called "starter kit" on your career? You have a right to an education and you owe it to yourself to invest in your future.
