But before you get delirious about $150 an hour, remember that its going to take you 1-2 hours to find, apply for, and be accepted for a work at home gig that good. 3) Assembling Crafts and other Products This work at home niche seems to be plagued with more scams than anything else. Proceed with caution. See if you can get a real person on the phone before you're lured into a work at home nightmare. 4) Customer Service There are a lot of companies looking to oursource their customer service or tech support work. You will, once again, probably be competing with eager job seekers overseas, but you've got a huge advantage because you speak real American English, and you know all the cultural nuances that your overseas competitors don't. Google "customer service outsourcing" or try finding some of the big mail order telephone order places. To find a real work at home job at this you will probably have to go directly to the employer, not through a third party website that's promoting work at home opportunities. 5) Virtual Assistant People all over the world are looking for virtual assistants - VAs. There's even an Internation Virtual Assistant's Association. Good VA's can make $80K a year or more working at home, and the best part is that once you find one or two really good clients, its a steady gig that you could have for years. If you ever had a job as a secretary or an assistant, seriously consider being a VA. You will need strong English, excellent communication and research skills, and the ability to spend the time and the effort to figure things out (so your boss can do other stuff). Being good with computers is a must - many VAs do things like setup webinars and send email newsletters. Just remember - you don't have to be a genius to do anything technical. You just need to be able to read the manual. finish reading Top 10 Work at Home Jobs |
